Puppy Preschool’s next class starts on the 18th of March and as we are limited by the number of puppies that can attend (and the classes are getting BIG) – we encourage all owners of puppies to ring and get yourself “booked in”. There is a huge amount of evidence that shows the benefits for puppies FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES if they attend a puppy preschool, but they need to start before they are 14 weeks of age (they also need to be at least 8 weeks of age before they start).
In our world where owners are responsible for the behaviour of their animals and society expects dogs to be social and non-aggressive (and as responsible owners, we want our animals to be friendly and happy with other animals and other people) – then there is no more important time in the development of their brain and in the development of their behaviour than between 8 to 14 weeks of age. This is the time when the brain is developing very fast, this the time when the brain is laying down synapses (connections with other nerves and other areas of the brain), this is the time when their behaviour is developed FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.
Act now if you have a puppy and contact Lynelle by ringing 4153 1399 and find out the details of when, where and the cost of our Puppy Preschool. I cannot recommend this enough to all owners who have or are contemplating getting a puppy.
